Renfrew Dress and Coats Duet

Esta entrada va de regalos: Uno que doy y otro que recibo.

Primero os enseño el que será entregado a su destinataria cuando deje de llover de una vez. 

Gema: Te lo iba a enseñar puesto sobre Roberta, pero despues pensé que a mi la ropa sobre los maniquís no me dice nada, así que hicimos un cambio de ropa. He salido ganando,jiji.

This post is about presents. One that I give away and one that I received.

First the one that I made for a friend. It will be delivered as soon as it stops raining.

I was going to photograph it on Roberta but then I thought that it wouldn´t be necessary. My friend and I are the same size. So the mannequin and I swap clothes, hihi!

El patrón es el Renfrew de Sewaholic, con el que hice los dos tops de la entrada anterior TWO RENFREWS AND A HALF, ahí teneis más detalles sobre en patrón. Lo que hice fué alargarlo, dandole la forma de la cadera, hasta una altura sobre la rodilla. Mi amiga tiene unas piernas preciosas, así que ¡A lucirlas!

The pattern is Renfrew from Sewaholic, with which I made the tops from the last post TWO RENFREWS AND A HALF, where you can find more details. I simply made it longer following the hips contour and lengthen the hem above the knee. My friend has beautiful legs!!

Pasamos al regalo que he recibido de Coats.

Siguen celebrando sus 200 años en el mundo de la costura con estas cajitas vintage preciosas. 

Traen 10 bobinas de hilos de colores muy, muy útiles, en la calidad Coats Duet Brilliant Performance. 100% poliester. Los podeis encontrar en las mercerias y os digo como CHARO: Merece la pena invertir en hilos de calidad. 

Now, my present from COATS.

They are still celebrating their second century in the sewing world by releasing this pretty vintage box. 

It contains 10 thread bobbins in very, very useful colours. The quality is Coats Duet Brilliant Performance. 100% polyester. I always buy  good bobbins, even if my fabrics are not first rate. My sewing machine is, and she refuses to be fed with poor quality threads!!!

Eskerrik Asko, Maider

He ganado el sorteo de nuestra querida Maider...¡Bieeeeen!
¿Que os puedo decir de ella, que no sepais? ¿Que cose fenomenal? ¿Que tiene estilazo? ¿Que su pelo, y su remalladora, me dan envidia? ¿Que se apunta a un bombardeo? ¿Que tiene un blog, Masustak Eguzkitan, que no os deberiais perder?
Pues ahora os voy a decir algo más, por que lo que he ganado en su sorteo son sus 13 cosas favoritas. (Y gracias al cielo, una de ellas no eran los chicharrones, ni el lacón con grelos, ni las judias verdes....)
Esto es lo que me ha mandado:

- Chocolate blanco con yogur...eso es lo primero que he abierto por que el vicio es el vicio.
- Jabon artesano de rosas. Sin palabras.Me encanta.
- 1 cremallera roja. Esa no dura mucho sin usar
- 4 botones verdes. Estos tampoco
- bies verde oscuro, que yo pensaba que era nego-gris pero no
- piping nego, este si era negro
- Fat quarter de tela roja y negra, que junto con la...
- pieza de monedero, ya sé lo que voy a hacer.
- Lápiz empapelado (está escondido por que tengo dos lapiz-adictos en casa
- Mi favorito total de todas las cosas- Un cd con música variada: Pretenders, Oasis, Platero y tu, Lynard Skinard (SHA, es la canción con la que suelo empezar las clases de spinning) Ismael Serrano, Janis Joplin...

Así que os dejo con lo vuestro y voy a seguir con el chocolate y a escuchar buena música...¡ o a enjabonarme con rosas!

What can I say about her? That she sews wonderfully? That she´s got style? That I envy her hair and her overlocker? That she takes part in every sew-along, every challenge? That she´s got a blog, Masustak Eguzkitan, that you shouldn´t miss?

So I´ll leave you to what you are doing at the moment because now, I´m going to take a bath with my rose soap while I eat some chocolate.
