Although Miren invited me as a guest for the " Free Topic" week, I wanted to participate in the other weeks too. I couldn´t find anything suitable for the "Retro" week but for the knits? Oh,yes! My son has been growing a lot lately and his old tracksuits are not fitting him any longer. So I made him one.

I made it with the leftover fabric from ESTA SUDADERA/ V8854, plus some scraps from other Telaria proyects yet to come. Those are RACE FLAG and COCHECITOS ROJOS (red cars)
I added and appliqué with his name in the back, and he likes that a lot!

Los patrones que he usado han sido Burda 01/2010 # 125 A que ya usé antes con forro polar...vease lo mucho que ha crecido Don Jaime.

El patron de los pantalones es uno de los 18000 que os podeis encontrar en el Burda. Es básico y sin bolsillo, para evitar que meta piedras dentro. Que le conozco.

Como me quedé sin tela azul, que es supergustosa por dentro, le tuve que hacer la cinturilla con la tela de los coches.

Aqui los detalles. Le puse un aplique de cochecito Wolkswagen en el frente. Y le borde Haven (puerto) Coast (costa) inglesizando (toma palabro) Aventuras y Costuras. Es mi marca infantil. Que estamos a tope con "La Isla del Tesoro" y queria algo marítimo.

Ya lo terminé hace varias semanas y os puedo decir que está 5 minutos en el armario y el resto puesto o en la lavadora. No digo más.

I finished this weeks ago and I can say that this tracksuit is in constant rota. 5 minutes in the closet and then worn or in the washing machine.
