Maratón Telaria y Panic Sewing

Hola a todas! Seguro que a estas alturas ya lo habeis visto anunciado en todas partes. Va a ser el evento de la temporada, seguro. Nos vamos a divertir, aprenderemos cosas nuevas y encima ¡hay regalazos!
Os estoy hablando del Maratón que Telaria ha organizado. Del 14 de Octubre al 8 de Noviembre estaremos cosiendo para nuestros niños con una temática diferente cada semana. Pasad e informaos AQUI

Hello! I´m back...so soon?  I just had to announce this event that is going to be the biggest one in the Spanish Sewing blogosphere so far. It is organized by Telaria  and you can read  about it HERE.

The event will start on October the 14th and finish on the 8th of November (My son´s birthday!) We will be sewing for our kids with a different theme each week, while we learn from others, and have fun.

Vale ahora Costuras provocadas por el pánico. Estuches.
Al leer las listas de materiales de mis hijos, ver la pila de  cosas que necesitan para pasado mañana, y después de comprobar que el estuche más barato cuesta 7.5 €  desde luego era un pecado comprarlos. Así que se los he hecho yo, y por si os interesa, el tuto del estuche es de Naii, lo podeis encontrar AQUI. He tardado una hora en hacer los tres, uno más grande que los otros dos, he usado una tela plastificada que, ¡vale! es fea, ¡vale! es poco infantil pero ¡eh! Estaba en casa en forma de retal que me sobró de ESTE ABRIGUITO y Septiembre es un mes muy duro. Las cremalleras tambien andaban por casa.

Panic sewing.  I´ve read the list of things my kids need for next course that starts next Tuesday, and I feel the need to help the family economy by sewing at least the pencil cases. I used Naii´s tutorial , that you can find HERE. It´s very visual so even though it is in Spanish, it is very easy to understand. 
It is a very fast thing. I used an hour to cut and sew all three of them and the toilet bag. I give it to you, I didn´t use the most appropriate fabric for kids, but I had a bit of fabric left from THIS COAT, and some zippers in my notions tin so there was no way I was going out to buy more. The kids are happy, I´m happy!

La niña tambien necesitaba una bolsita de aseo para después de Educación Física y usé este tuto de  Rojo Ababol. Otro proyecto rápido, fácil y útil. Recomiendo también.

The girl also needed a toilet bag to use after the "Physical Education"class and I used this totorial from Rojo Ababol. Another easy, fast, useful proyect!
